[Mail_emis] Update from 11/6/2017

Good afternoon,
The following was discussed on the EMIS call on Monday November 6th

SSID Issues
Some ITCs  will get lists of students where there are multiple SSIDs that have identical information.  About 50 pairs of SSIDS have the exact same information and both are being funded.  ODE needs to know if they are the same student or if they are truly 2 students with the exact same information.
We will let you know if MVECA hears from ODE that we have some of the students.  ODE will be making periodic checks on this in the future.


ODDEX History
ODE is loading new and updated Assessment data in History
            They added in performance levels for ELA
            Take out Performance levels from reading sub scores.
            Added Fall window  Assessments
This is about 8  million rows of data that will take about a week or more to get all the data updated.  You will begin to see changes in the ELA and Reading assessments.

Staff Validation Report
Very close to launching the cert reports.  Most likely next week since they are not out as of today.  When they are loaded, you will receive a new collection request email
HQT and Cert report will be combined.

CTE Reports
There was an issue with the final CTE reports for FY17.
Data has been updated. The reports will be updated in the L2 FY17 manifest.

FY17 Appeals
Close to having all of them processed. Hoping to have updated FTE reports later this month.

Social Studies
We will not be reporting HQT for Social Students teachers this year.  If you reported HQT for SS you will continue to receive a DASL error, but you will not need to go back in and update all your teachers to reflect and I.  ODE will change the HQT for these teacher to an I on the report.  There will be a message that indicates that ODE made the change but you will not see any issues from reporting the HQT.

Federal Child Count
Typically ODE does not pull FCC data till later in the 2 TRD reporting for Traditional Districts and during the final SOES manifest.  Office of Exceptional Children is going to require the data be pulled from the end of the first reporting window.  All FCC data will need to be  updated and as correct as possible by December 21st when the manifest closes.

Assessment Missing Reports
These will hopefully be out within the next week or 2.
ODE is planning on missing reports for the following manifests.

            KRA - Based on enrollment not sure about vendor file
            ELA- Based on enrollment not sure about vendor file
            COS- Working the that office to see if they can come up with criteria for a missing file
            Fall 3rd Grade Reading- Enrollment and Vendor file
            Fall DORP- Enrollment and Vendor file
            OGT/EOC Fall- Only Vendor lists.
