[Mail_supt] Alternative Calendar Questions

Good Afternoon,

Our board would like us to research alternative school calendars to address
balancing the school year, minimizing the summer slide, and maximizing
class time before state assessments.

Would you please answer these questions for me?

   - Are you now, or have you ever been, on a Balanced Calendar or
   Year-Round School Calendar in your district?
      - If so, would you be willing to send me that calendar?
      - If you were previously on a different schedule and changed back to
      a traditional school calendar, would you share your reasoning for the
      change?
