Good Morning,

The Miami Valley Communications Council (MVCC), now under the Miami Valley Technology and Communications Group (MVTCG), will begin the annual Pavement Marking Bid process in the next few weeks. This is a free service for our member and affiliate cities in which MVTCG collects city quantities for thermoplastic, epoxy and regular paint striping. The quantities are then combined and placed out for bid for the participating cities.

After the bid opening, each city will receive all the bid packets to make their own selection of a bidder based on their needs, make contact with the company of their choice and schedule striping within their own timeframe.

The MVCC merger with Miami Valley Educational Computer Association increases membership to ??? We are hopeful the increased participation in this project will also help lower overall costs.

Please let me know by Monday Feb. 9 if you will be participating in this year's project in order for us to add you to our city list of participants. This year's participants will then receive a new form that only requires contact information and quantities next to the paint line item you require.

NOTE: For those participating, please review the attached list of paint item descriptions and let me know if you require any additions to this list. Items Cannot be added to this list once this project is underway.
