Registration of our AI Policy Development Workshop is now FREE!  Thanks to Sinclair Community College for allowing us to waive all registration fees.  Please register right away!

YOU'RE INVITED: MVTCG and MVECA cordially invites you to AI Policy Development Training

Audience: School Administrators

Purpose: To support school district leaders in developing a comprehensive AI Policy that meets state requirements.

Dates: Friday, April 24 and Friday, May 15, 2026. 8:30am-12pm // Registration Starts at 8am

Location: Miami Valley Technology and Communications Group (MVTCG)
      888 Dayton St, Yellow Springs, OH 45387

Cost: Free!

Objectives: Sinclair College’s AI Excellence Institute will design and deliver sessions that will guide participants through key considerations for effective AI governance, including ethical and responsible use, transparency, and best practices for faculty, staff, and students. Leaders will also explore ways to align the policy to their district’s mission, vision, and values.
At the end of the two sessions, participants will leave with a drafted policy that can be presented to key stakeholders for further review and refinement based on the current model policy defined by the Ohio Department of Education.

Deliverables: Two (2) Three hour and thirty-minute sessions (3.5 hours)
The two classes offered will be as follows:

  *   Friday, April 24 – Just Getting Started – In Beginning Stages
  *   Friday, May 15 – Polishing the Plan
  *   Attending both sessions is NOT required; only suggested
  *   Training workbook • All training materials • Certificates of Attendance with Contact Hours or Continuing Educational Units
