[Mail_treas] Survey results re "double dipping"

Thank you to everyone who replied to the questions regarding if you have an
employee, say a full-time classified aide who is also a  paid coach, who
must leave early (before the end of his/her contracted hours that day) to
get to an event, what do (would you do?)

The replies, in no particular order are as follows:

1.  Pay both jobs;
2.  Pay them as professional days/hours;
3.  Classified are not allowed to have supplemental contracts; (*2nd most
frequent*);
     reasons were FLSA (overtime) and ACA issues
4.  Dock the time once they left to coach; (*most frequent response to the
question*);
5.  Go ahead and pay both since " . . . there was nothing illegal or
unethical with the
    practice." per the respondent's legal counsel.
6.  Have the employee come in early or otherwise make up the time;
7.  They must use some type of leave;
8.  "Just tell everybody to eat cake" - thanks to M who was having a bad
day: ☺
9.  Find someone else who doesn't have any conflicts'
10. "Is it a classified person that you like?  If so . . . let it go:).  If
you don't like them,
      then dock them!  Just kidding!"  Thanks to J.  Funny but . . .☺
11. "Ignore!!!!"
