[Mail_treas] Auditorium Curtains

Fellow Treasurers:

Our district was fortunate to recently receive a large donation which will
allow us to replace the curtains in our high school auditorium.

Our expectation is that the total cost of the curtains will be in excess of
$25,000 and thus require that we request bids.

Are there any treasurers out there who may have gone through the bidding
process for this purchase? If so, I would appreciate a copy of your bid
document/specification as well as where you may have published your notice.
I would presume there may be several "trade journals" where you might
publish? If you are similar to our district, there are no suppliers of
auditorium curtains in the general area who might be responding to a notice
in one or more of the local papers.

Appreciate any help you might provide.
