[Mail_treas] Sick leave cash-out payment option

Hi Fellow Colleagues,

Do any of you have language for a sick leave"cash-out" payment option, other than severance? Here's basic concepts: payment for accrued sick leave, after a set amount of district years of service and accruing a set required balance.  The payment would NOT be contingent upon retirement nor replacing current severance practice. The hope would be to reduce the future severance obligation by paying earlier, at much lower daily rate, reducing accrued days and hopefully absenteeism.
