[Mail_treas] Bad Debt Collections

Good Morning,

We have several families that owe large amounts in their children’s lunch accounts.  Do any of you use a collection agency to collect student debt?  I am not talking NSF checks, just parents who refuse to pay lunches, fees, etc.
Currently it just remains on their record and must be paid to get their diploma.  This doesn’t address those students who move out of the district.
