[Mail_treas] Retirement Reporting - SERS/STRS

Hello,

We received a message this morning that the software is not reporting those employees who pay into both retirement systems correctly. Currently, the software is only allowing an employee to be reported for one retirement system when they should be able to be reported for both the SERS and STRS retirement systems.

The current workaround for this is that you will run the report and once it is correct, you will create the tape file for one of the retirement systems (SERSREG or STRSREG). Then, if you have an employee who should be reported for the next retirement system, MVECA will need to go into your system and re-set that employee so they can be reported on the next retirement report also.

The state software team is currently looking for a solution to this problem and will let us know once it can be fixed. If you are able, you may want to hold off on completing the retirement portion of payroll for a little bit. Only, please be mindful of the payment deadline of five business days after the payroll date.
