Hello,

 

How do you handle paying classified personnel who crosses classifications?
For example, if you have a contracted employee who works her Head Custodian
8 hour regular job then she drives bus for an activity trip after working
her regular job on the same day. 

 

In our district we have different hourly rates for each classification and
for each step.  If we have an employee who works like I stated above we use
a weighted overtime spreadsheet to calculate what she should be paid.  

 

Does your district use weighted overtime or do you pay them at the hourly
rate of their regular job even though they are driving bus and not doing the
head custodian job?
