The Mid-East Career and Technology Centers Board of Education is seeking
candidates for the position of Treasurer. The vacancy is created by the
retirement of Richard White, who has served the District for 18 years. The
application deadline is January 31, 2020 and the expected start date is
June 1, 2020. The applicant must have a valid Treasurers license and
experience as a school Treasurer is preferred.





*Qualifications and Responsibilities*



The Treasurer is responsible for all financial operations of the District,
including all state and federal reporting, development of the annual
budget, and preparing the Five-Year Forecast. The Treasurer is an active
partner on the District’s Administrative Team and will be expected to
provide financial leadership.





*The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:*



·       Proficient in public school finance, budgets, appropriations,
payroll, investing, and forecasting

·       Excellent written and verbal skills

·       Proven ability to work collaboratively with administrative team

·       Strong financial background

·       Personal integrity, high standards of honesty, ethics, and personal
conduct

·       Knowledge and use of operating software
