Groveport Madison Schools, in Franklin County, is seeking applicants for the position of Treasurer/CFO. The new Treasurer/CFO will assume responsibilities in January 2020. Finding Leaders and the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO) are assisting the Board in its search for an outstanding Treasurer/CFO.

This central office position reports directly to the Board of Education and is responsible for all financial matters for the district including but not limited to:
* Promotion of student learning through sound fiscal management
* Serving as the financial manager
* Communicating and collaborating
* Participating in shared district leadership with the superintendent
* Utilizing data-based decision making

Qualifications/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a proven leader with a thorough understanding of the State of Ohio finance system and system of accountability. The following are also qualifications of a successful candidate:
* At least a bachelor's degree or higher
* Ohio Treasurer's Certificate/License
* Successful school district Treasurer experience
* Successful leadership experience in school finance
* Successful experience in levy modeling and planning
* Strong team leadership skills and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a member of an administrative team
* Ability to create and maintain an atmosphere of respect and trust
