TREASURER/CFO SEARCH

The Knox County Educational Service center is assisting The Clear Fork Valley Local School District Board of Education in seeking applicants for the position of Treasurer/CFO.
The Treasurer reports directly to the Board of Education and is responsible for all
financial matters for the district, including, but not limited to the following:
•    Philosophical commitment to and passion for public education.
•    Actively engaged in the day to day operations of the Finance Office
•    Fiscal leader and advisor
•    Tax levy and bond issue
•    Successful experience in Five Year Financial Forecasting
•    Participates in shared district leadership


Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree Required
•    Current Ohio public school Treasurer license Required
•    Successful experience as a public school Treasurer preferred
•    Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
•    Demonstrated record of fiscal and management credibility
•    Successful experiences using technology in the Treasurer’s office
•    Success experience in community and parent engagement
•    Successful relationships with School Board members
•    Demonstrated record of success as contributing member of senior management team
•    Demonstrated ability to provide building level fiscal support
•    Demonstrated understanding of Ohio school funding
•    Demonstrated understanding of Ohio school law.
