[Mail_treas] USPS - NEW SSN VERIFICATION

Good Morning All,

Something everyone has been waiting for is SSN Verification prior to W2 processing.
This is new this year. (Brandy will be covering this during CYE training.)
You will find the option in Reports.  It's call W2 SSN Verification.
Select Create Submission file.  Once the report options open click the button Generate file submission
Submit the file to SSA/BSO.
When the results are ready, save the file to your computer.
Go back to Reports/W2 SSN Verification and select Results Report

Select File Format
Sort By Option
Choose file to upload the W2 SSN Verification Results File
Click the Generate W2 SSN Verification Results Report.

This will provide a list of any SSN errors.
