[Mail_treas] How to Reverse a Reissue of a Direct Deposit to Check

Happy Snow Day 😊
We came across a procedure that we would like to share with you.

If you happen to Reissue a Direct Deposit as a check in error (for example for the wrong person),
there is a procedure to reverse the reissue and unvoid the direct deposit.


  1.  Locate the Payment: Go to the Payments > Payroll section and find the payment you need to unvoid.
  2.  Void the Payment: Mark the checkbox for the payment and click "Void." A pop-up box will appear prompting for a Void Date. Enter the date and click "Confirm."
  3.  Unvoid the Payment: After voiding, mark the checkbox for the payment again and click "Unvoid." Another pop-up box will appear listing the two payments. Mark the checkbox next to the Direct Deposit and click "Un-void."
  4.  Verify the Status: Ensure that the payroll check has a void status to confirm the process is complete.
These steps will help you reverse the void/reissue process so that the system matches the transaction on the bank side.
