[Mveca_usas] Tax forms

Hello,


1.     I want to make sure that everyone understands that MVECA will not be printing the new 1094B/C (Transmittal) and  1095B/C (Employee Form) for tax year 2015.  The information required for these forms is not in payroll.  Your insurance provider will need to supply the information.   Each employee with coverage, will need to receive a printed 1095 by January 31, 2016.   These forms must be submitted to the IRS by February 29, 2016 or March 31st  if filing electronically.   Please review the attached draft instructions posted to the IRS website on 8/6.



The "reporting" feature of Worxtime has a deadline for implementation this year.  The agreement to do it must be requested by 8/31 and then the agreement must be signed and back to them by 9/30.   Please let me know if you have found an alternative for printing these forms.


2.     I heard from Edge yesterday that they will be increasing the cost of the W2/1099 printing software.  They described it as a slight increase with details to follow.  Last year, districts paid $21.04 for the software upgrade.  Please anticipate a "slight increase".



3.     We will be ordering W2 and 1099 forms soon.  I plan to order the same amount as last year.  If you think that you have a significant change in the number of W2s or 1099s needed, please let me know by 8/31/15.  I'll send details later for you to create a PO.
