[Mveca_usas] Fiscal Yearend Meeting, Friday, May 29, 2015

Hello!

I've scheduled our Fiscal Yearend Review meeting for Friday, May 29th at 9:00 to noon in the Greene ESC Commons.

Shanna Baxter, Senior Accountant at Clark Schaefer Hackett will be here to present information about data needed to complete GAAP Reporting.   I've asked Katie from SERS and Beth from STRS to come and join us again.  Katie will talk about the new SERS system, upcoming dates and completing retirement forms.  Beth will touch on the rate change, completing Member Deposit and Service reports and the reconciliation process that STRS does when someone retires.

Here's a tentative agenda:
9:00-9:20 - USAS FYE Checklist
9:20-9:45- Shanna Baxter, Senior Accountant, Clark Schaefer Hackett
9:45-10:30 - USPS FYE Checklist focusing mainly on the STRS Annual Report reconciliation
10:30-11:15 - STRS - Beth Hohenstein
11:15- 12:00 - SERS- Katie Talbert

I will schedule a Webex to go over EMIS 14H Financial reporting.  I, also, plan to do a STRSAD 101 training in the lab in early June.  Watch for those announcements.
