Please see the communication/request below from SSDT to confirm how many districts are providing data from the Federal Assistance Detail and Summary with Auditors for the specific use of Federal Schedules.

Please reply back if your district is using the Federal Assistance Detail and Summary for this purpose by 2/15/2024 so we may gather this information for SSDT to provide the feedback requested.

Per ODE, we recently removed the Federal Assistance Summary and Detail from the EMIS extract.  The Federal Assistance Detail and Summary data existed in USAS for the purpose of EMIS reporting.  We did our due diligence and discussed the removal of this feature with the Prioritization Working Group.  We also reached out to AOS and the SOC1 auditors to ensure this data wasn't being used for purposes outside of EMIS reporting.  Hearing no other use cases we opted to remove the Federal Assistance Detail and Summary from USAS.  This was done with the 2024.0.0 release on January 19, 2024.

We have received a couple of reports of districts using this data for their Federal Schedules.  We are reaching out to you to find out how widely this information is being provided to auditors for the specific use of Federal Schedules.  If its use is limited we can suggest other reports that will provide the necessary information.  If it is widely used, we will consider other alternatives.  In addition, if you know of other use cases please share that information with us as well.

Please reach out to your districts to determine if the data is being used for Federal Schedules and let us know at your earliest convenience.
