[Mveca_usas] CYE Fiscal Meeting- Save the Date!

Good Morning and Happy Friday All,

We are hosting our Calendar Year-End Meetings on Thursday, December 4, 2025! We will host the meeting both in the MVECA atrium lab and WebEx live. Attached is the agenda along with registration links, please ensure you register for the session you would like to attend.

If you are a new district or have new Treasurer staff you must apply for a TCC code so you will be able to file your 1099 forms through IRS Fire<https://fire.test.irs.gov/> or IRIS<https://www.irs.gov/filing/e-file-information-returns-with-iris> system for 2025. In July the IRS announced the IRS Fire website will retire at the end of 2026. For filing 2025 1099's districts can file through either the IRS Fire<https://fire.test.irs.gov/> or IRIS<https://www.irs.gov/filing/e-file-information-returns-with-iris> system (If your district has not had any treasurer/filler changes, no action is required at this time). If you are a district that needs a new TCC code we recommend you obtain your TCC code through the new IRIS<https://www.irs.gov/filing/e-file-information-returns-with-iris> system and below is a link to a presentation to give more details regarding the change and process on filing in the new IRIS<https://www.irs.gov/filing/e-file-information-returns-with-iris> system:

Please ensure if you have had any changes to the treasurer staff impacting who will be filing or is a contact for filing 1099's you complete the application<https://www.irs.gov/tax-professionals/iris-application-for-tcc> for your TCC Code as soon as possible.
