[Tech-l] MVECA Assembly Meeting and Merger Proposal

Good afternoon!
We are looking forward to seeing you on the 17th for the MVECA Assembly Meeting.  I've copied the information and registration link for the meeting below and have attached a proxy form that you can return to us or send with a designee if you are unable to attend.
Also attached you will find a merger proposal that defines a plan for MVECA to effectively take over the operations of the Miami Valley Communications Council (MVCC) located in Centerville.  In an effort to avoid having to call a special meeting of the MVECA Assembly in May or June, we would like to provide this plan to you for your review now and will have a recommended motion for your consideration at April meeting.  You will also have an opportunity to participate in a discussion on the merger plan on the 17th.  If needed, you may contact me directly with questions now and are welcome to reach out to MVECA Board members to ask them about the merger plan as well.  Here are a few notes on the plan:

  1.  The plan will cause no significant changes to the activities of the MVECA Assembly or your membership in MVECA.
  2.  The plan will require a change of fiscal agent for MVECA (and MVCC).
  3.  The plan will create new service offerings for all MVECA members.
  4.  The plan will improve the financial standing of both organizations while increasing opportunities for business development.

Save the Date for MVECA's Spring Assembly Meeting!

Good Afternoon MVECA Assembly Members and Friends,
MVECA's Spring Assembly Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 17th, 2025 at the MVECA Offices, located at 888 Dayton Street, Suite 102, Yellow Springs, OH 45387. Sign-in and breakfast will begin at 9:00 AM, and the meeting will begin at 9:30 AM.
The Spring Assembly meeting agenda, as well as the minutes from the Fall 2024 Assembly meeting, will be provided soon.
