It has been determined that when the Alt OELPA student results files for FY23 (and likely FY24) were released, they were not in the Ohio OST Assessment Results File Layout for FY24.  Instead, they are being released in the vendor default CRS layout.  For this reason, errors are being received when attempting to import the results files.  The issue has been submitted to development, and once resolved, ITCs will be advised.

Prior to a resolution being released, there are a couple things the districts should be aware of.  When districts are downloading the Alt OELPA results files, they will want to use the following options to get the files that will have the reportable data in them:

1.    Districts should download the Alt OELPA results by selecting the following options:

1.    Report Type – Student Data

2.    Report Format – TXT

3.    Output – Data File for Each Test

2.    Save the file to their computer, since it cannot be loaded into StudentInformation at this time.

3.    Once a resolution is available, they will be able to load those files using the Assessment Import Process.

4.    OR they can manually enter their test results into StudentInformation if they so desire.  They will want to remember to select the Test Type of ALT when doing so.

5.    If manually entering the test results, they will also want to be sure to enter them in the correct testing year.
