[DistrictEmisCoordinators] Change in Course Terms - Snow Days

Good Afternoon!

With all of this snow and ice I figured some (if not most) of our districts may have questions in regards to if school was supposed to start for a semester or quarter and you ended up having a snow day.

If this applies to you; you will need to be at the building level for each one of your schools and update your calendar dates wizard and your course section assignment dates.  You will want to update Calendar Dates Wizard first...

Calendar Dates Wizard

The first tab is your start date and end date for your school year (most of you will not make any changes here)  Click Next
This takes you to Schedule Term Dates - if your stop dates for any quarter did not change you will not need to do anything here just click next.
You are now on the Non-Attending Days tab - here you will enter your snow days and hit save
Review your master calendar and click Finish


Course Section Assignment Dates

Once you update your calendar dates wizard your new start date for your semester/quarter will update on this page but you will need to enter the Original start date and stop date (if any changes are made) and save your changes.  This will update the students start date on their schedules.
