[Mail_treas] health insurance coverage for employees who resign

I am interested to know how other districts handle health insurance for
teachers at the time of separation.

When a teacher has fulfilled their "number of work days" obligation for
their contract year, do you assume they have met the requirements for the
12 month period so they qualify to continue insurance coverage until August
(since their original coverage began in August), even if their resignation
is effective June 30?
Or do you cancel coverage same effective date as resignation effective date?
