If you are seriously considering this, make it easier on your staff to
administer. Tell the union that in order to have this, they handle all the
jacking around with forms on their end, and simply total it up, give you
the forms to make the adjustments.
I would also avoid the garbage of people donating more than needed, etc...
(with the above). Make it they donate, you transfer. Make it one and done
- you and your staff will go bonkers administering this. Your Switzerland
- just move what folks donate and don't get into the habit of adding the
tracking of extra days given and then "banked" within the bank.
They police it, administer it, you just giveth and taketh based on what
folks "donate" through their unions.
