Subject: School Resource Officers
Hello,
For those of you that have a school resource officer(s) in your schools, could you please answer a couple quick questions?
1. How is the school resource officer funded? For example is it totally paid for by the school, does the city or county cover all or a portion of the cost, etc.
2. Is your school resource officer an active duty police officer or sheriff's deputy? If not, what is their background or qualifications?
Thanks
