[Mail_treas] EMIS: Ending FY23 Procedures

Good Morning,

We wanted to send a reminder, IF your EMIS Coordinator has completely finished reporting FY23 AND you have finished paying contracts for FY23, it is time to archive Compensations for FY23.  This can be done with either Mass Load Archive Compensation or Mass Change Contract Compensations archive True.

This is also a good time to clear Long Term Illness for FY23 once EMIS reporting for FY23 is complete.

Don't forget to increment years of experience If you haven't already done so.

This would be a good time to update degree level and semester hours on the Employee Screen.

If you are using the Position EMIS Contract Override fields (Contract, days, FTE etc..) don't forget to update this information.  It is not necessary to use these fields unless you have a specific purpose, for example: splitting contract information for a teacher that works in two buildings.  If you have used these fields in the past and no longer use them, then you should clear those fields with a mass load.

Please remember to enter a separation date and reason for employees who have left your district, if you haven't already entered them. See attached document "Staff EMIS Separation Scenarios FY23"

Reminder that the EMIS Fiscal Year will need to be changed from 2023 to 2024.  Each district typically has an assigned person to make this change.
